While all members are required to uphold the
Standards of Practice and Canon of Ethics,
certified members are also required to pass a
rigorous exam that tests knowledge in a variety
of technical areas including hydrogeology, building
construction, ethics, and OSHA safety
procedures. To maintain certification, members
must obtain at least 15 hours worth of continuing
professional education every two years.
